Originally from Moscow and now based in Prague, Téa Wavesword is a producer, a co-owner of Lichen Records and a DJ with the skills she proved via 3-year residency at Propaganda, one of Moscow's finest clubs.
Having discovered clubs in the mid 2000s, Téa was hooked by electronic sounds at once and since then started to build her vast music collection and improvise behind the turntables. Her choice now often goes for emotionally charged sophisticated house or hypnotic and experimental techno, rooted in the mixture of years clubbing, her classical music training and constant excitement for analogue machines and new technologies. This brought Téa into studying sound design and creating her own universe of grooves and sounds, in collaboration with Onlee aka Boris Romanov, - their debut “Disturbed butterflies” EP was released on Lichen Records in spring 2015, followed by remixes from Anton Kubikov and Yapacc.
