Deejay Tekx is a German DJ who has been on the turntables since 1995. His roots are in
hip hop, where he developed his skills as a scratcher and a finger drummer. He has
participated in numerous DJ battles. In 2003, he was named one of the best scratchers
in Germany at the Splash Festival and began organizing events and enriching the hip
hop scene in his region. From then on, international gigs followed, taking him as far as
New York. Today, he mostly focuses on DJing, playing a mix of hip hop, funk, soul and
electro. He is always looking for new sounds and trends and likes to experiment with
different genres and techniques. In 2015 he was one of the first champions in the
Finger Drumming Contest of Sample Music Festival. Tekx is a DJ with heart and
passion, who shares his music with the audience and creates a good atmosphere.
