Dublin South FM Radio Project Has Over-55’s ‘Speaking Out For a Change’!

A new radio series featuring over-55’s from south Dublin and other locations across the country will air on Dublin South FM from September. The series ‘Speaking Up For a Change’ is comprised of 5 half-hour episodes compiled from programming produced by community radio stations across the country. As an introduction to the 5 half-hour compilation programmes, a special hour-long programme produced and presented by people from across south Dublin aired on DSFM on September 23rd. The theme of this programme is ‘Positivity in Ageing – Making Ageing Positive’.

Across the series these newly qualified broadcasters speak directly to ministers, councillors, state agencies, voluntary organisations and lobbying groups.
