That is the manner by which Spark-E portrays himself as a DJ. Never reluctant to dive excessively deep, his emotive melodic choices are his own therapeutic treatment. Having experienced childhood with his family’s diverse mix of soul music (Otis Reading, James Brown, Marvin Gaye), 70’s Funk (Funkadelic, Rick James), synth-imbued 80s music (A-ha, Eurythmics)… all which progressed toward becoming implanted with his very own adoration for both hip-bounce and computer game music, Spark-E wound up with a significant blended range of melodic impact. Today, this converts into sets where he dissects and injects together every one of the bits of this music that he cherishes best: delightful synth work, ethereal sceneries, agonizing basslines, and incidental vocal snares… all over an articulated foot-rearranging house beat.
