Soul Scientist (Andreia Gomez) is a musician, producer and DJ with over a decade of experience in performing and producing music. She creates ecstatic psychedelic journeys that blend live sound manipulation and guitar playing. Her sets include the works of Astrix, Electric Universe, Outsiders, Avalon and Vini Vici to name a few, rearranged and remixed live and in the studio. With added sound effects, samples and instrumental layers, each track has Soul Scientist’s unique arrangement and musical signature.

She was the songwriter and lead guitarist for prog metal band MIND, who shared stages with psychedelic rock legends Hawkwind in 2019. She started to DJ as a side project, fascinated by the possibility of bringing sound manipulation into live performance, this soon became her main focus. Experienced in playing a variety of styles whilst heavily influenced by psychedelic rock and progressive metal, she found her calling in playing guitar to psytrance.
