SORRY SHOES began in Cologne in 2009 with Australian/German partners Mike Kelly & Jean Philips creating a platform for musical freedom - beats beyond fads and fashions, and unrestricted by commercial pressures. Quickly the artist collective expanded to include like-minded producers from six continents, over styles of house, tech, progressive, techno, and deep house.

The music policy is simple. Good music is irresistible. Our artists’ moods and modes are many. Our taste is beyond niche. But, as the name highlights, this is a label focussed on the burning the floor.
