Alex Mcdonough AKA Sonderboy has been surrounded by music of all kinds since he could walk. From an early age alex has been playing Drums, Electric guitar & Bass guitar which kickstarted his DJ career. Sonderboy is a name that is very well recognised on the Asian & Australian nightlife circuit. He learnt his trade in Cardiff & Swansea whilst in university helping run some of the biggest underground nights in the country including the likes of ‘faux pas’ & ‘treatment’.

This DJ brings an excitement and a stage prescence that is setting him aside from the rest. With his background musical knowledge he is pushing himself further everyday setting a new standard for other performers in the region. He takes much inspiration from the likes of Maceo plex, Bicep, Hot Since 82, Jamie jones, Dale howard & Cristoph just to name a few and his sound is known for it’s bass heavy house tracks with dark running melodies throughout.
