This site's for my old mixtapes. Yep, real tapes. The mixes that accompanied me and my friends through the days of adolescence and beyond. These tapes had uncountable runs through boomboxes while barbequeing in suburban gardens and getting wasted on the banks of Elbe and Alster. They were playing on shabby car stereos when we set out to discover exotic places nearby and far away. They played on autoreverse in my walkman on endless hours spend in public transit.
I thought it was about time to save these little treasures from deterioration and make them available, mostly for me and the people, that share all the memories condensed on these tiny stripes of magnetized plastic.

These are old tapes so don't expect hi-fi sound quality. Many of the recordings were made, when I only had one turntable, so no smooth transitions either plus when I finally had 2 platters, some transitions were total trainwrecks, sorry.
