Shortwave is a 52 seat independent cinema and cafe bar based in Bermondsey, less than 10 minutes walk from London Bridge and Borough tube stations. We screen the best of art house cinema, recent releases, alongside hosting festivals and previews for independent emerging filmmakers.

Since opening in 2009, events we have hosted include: London Short Film Festival, London Independent Film Festival, Q & A's with directors, live bands, audio visual presentations, art exhibitions, corporate training events, London Spanish Film Festival, London Kurdish Film Festival, BFM Festival and the Discover Latin America Festival. Shortwave is available for daytime and evening hire. The screening room supports a 2K DCP kit, Blu-Ray, DVD and is fully air-conditioned.
