Shoemaker's love for original and edited disco music has led him down a rabbit hole of importing 12” vinyl from various parts of the globe. His confidence grew along with his collection and he’s been steadily building momentum in the City Bowl with a weekly vinyl residency at Hank’s Whiskey Bar as well as playing sets at Wax On, Natural Selection, Rocking The Daisies (2 years in a row now), Untamed Youth, TAO, The Get Down, Wolfkop (b2b w/Tommy Gun), Retreat Yourself, and the Decompression parties.
Wanting to find that perfect space for his disco records to be enjoyed most, he teamed up with Tommy Gun to created Club Disco last year. Club Disco is a party that allows people to escape the average night of dancing at a club or bar in town and into a fully decked out disco winter wonderland that embodies the true spirit of disco music at the Cape Town Club! Keep an ear out as Shoemaker plots his next move to share his finely tuned collection of records with a dance floor near you!
