Pauly Fawcett aka Shikung has always been married to music. Known as one of Melbourne's hardest working DJs, you can find him playing 5 hour 'journey' sets at various iconic bars around the city.
A dedicated collector of varied music both new and old, Shikung primarily spins all genres of bass music. Currently a member of the Uncomfortable Beats Collective, DJ Shikung has supported a huge list of international artists over his 11 year career, and digs through record shops to find gems that will surprise and delight a crowd, whether a banging dance floor set or a laid back Sunday afternoon session.
Some of the artists he has supported include Lauryn Hill, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Bassnectar, Harmonic 313, Digital Mystikz, Caspa, Distance, Jazzy Jeff + Mad Skillz, Dj Craze, Z-Trip, The Nextmen, DJ Vadim, Mr Scruff, Amp Fiddler, Roy Ayers, Shapeshifter, Elite Force, Meat Katie, Stanton Warriors and LTJ Bukem plus a slew of big Australian acts.
