Despite being just over one year old, the Shapes collective have taken their native city of Bristol by storm, regularly drawing sold-out crowd of loyal regulars and bewildered first-timers to their bi-monthly nights. Purveyors of all things House, Techno and Disco with some seriously talented residents and a penchant for technicolour fancy dress debauchery, Shapes' ambitious lineups are anything but formulaic, frequently looking beyond the domestic DJ circuit for bookings, an approach that has seen them host Mark Henning and Egokind to name but a few.
Shapes also recently teamed up with Bristolian superclub Motion, welcoming Eats Everything, Todd Terje and Tale of Us for a New Year's Day event, as well as hosting a series of covert afterparties that saw the likes of Claude Von Stroke playing marathon sets stretching from the early hours of the morning until noon the next day!
