Raised in Wolverhampton, Shadow of Light was part of the underground UK Garage scene that was rising in the 90s. He played vinyl sets on pirate station 106.3 Frontline FM in the high rises of Heath Town, close to Goldie’s old home with the well-known bassline and house DJs X5Dubs and DJ EJ. After a long hiatus, Shadow of Light decided to try and become a producer. Naturally, UK Garage was the main direction of his productions but he also started making hip hop and R n B. Four years later with releases with X5 Dubs Records, Highly Swung Records, Marvel & Eli and Jack Light, Shadow of Light is starting to release a new wave of productions. Expect to hear sounds that are fresh, melodic and energetic.
