Bremen, Germany
Screwdiver alias Matthias Kramer was born in 1985 in Twistringen near Bremen, Germany. When he was young, he heard punk and metall musik.
In the late nineties he met some new friends. These friends heard other music, electronic music, techno.
Started with Drum&Bass, Gabber and Progressive, later the love of Detroit Techno. Inspired by acts such as DJ Rush, Monika Kruse, Ben Sims,
Richie Hawtin, Redhead and many other great DJ´s and producers he began semselve to create something.
In the age of 16 he bought his first Omnitronic 2channel DJ mixer and one pitchable CD player.
One week later the first DJ mix was recordet. not very good, but hope was in sight. The next sets were better and so Axel Lüers aka. Voodoopriester
put one of the first recordet vinyl sets to his show "Kanal-Fatal" on Radio-Weser.tv.
Some time passed before he then got his first gig. Axel invited him again to his event "Voodooculture" in Bremen to play a back to back
vinyl set with him. It was a great night.
