Hi. my first experience mixing was at 16 in a party in the Dublin mountains in a shed that had blown down that winter in a storm that had become the dj booth. I was giving the chance to dj on a tape deck with pitch control and a Yamaha keyboard and i recorded it on tape.
I started mixing on vdj in 2006 and saved for cdjs and a mixer while learning the basics of timing and making mash ups for fun on software. I finally got 2 cdj 400s and a djm3000 in 2009 and without software learned how to beat match on cdjs. as a musician with 20 years experience playing rhythm guitar in metal bands I had a very good ear for timing. I djed regularly in second life doing 2 hour sets for about 2 years on my cdjs until my mixer broke. Roll on 2025 and I am back djing but on an flx4 controller. Ihave djed 2 parties in the last year which was awesome find me djing on TikTok after 8pm on Sundays on my account sav Janice the bass daddy @janice_toll
