Eleusis
Satyr, the horned and horny messenger of Dionysos, the Eleusinian forest god of intoxication, who mesmerized the youth of nearby villages with his musical magic and made them dance till broad daylight, in ancient times.
In our common era, Satyr reincarnated in Amsterdam to do no less. At age ten, he recorded his first mix, displaying his love for early hip hop and electro funk. Soon, his tapes were in high demand.
After the Second Summer Of Love, new dimensions of synthetic sound turned him on and he tuned in to ambient, techno and trance frequencies.
Ever since the early 1990s, Satyr became a skilled player of the SL & CDJ instruments, spinning various styles of eclectronica, gravitating towards and resonating deeply with psytrance, uptech, spacebeats & ambidelic chillout, scoping a wide range of the bpm spectrum. He has played in Belgium, Brasil, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, USA and the Dutch Neverlands.
