Sakaki Nakamura（日本語は下へ↓）
Sakaki started DJing in Tokyo in 1984. In 1992, he moved to NYC and dove deep into the golden age of house music—frequenting parties by legends like Frankie Knuckles, Timmy Regisford, and David Mancuso, while digging records at shops like Dance Tracks and Vinyl Mania.
He became a semi-regular at the massive “Octagon Fridays,” playing for 1,500+ dancers, and shared the stage with icons like Loretta Holloway, Danny Krivit, and Gwen Guthrie.
He also ran his own event, House Of East, for 17 years, hosting artists from around the globe.
80年代初頭、東京でDJとして活動をスタート。ハウスミュージック創世記の大きな波に乗り、92年にNYへ拠点を移す。Frankie Knuckles、Timmy Regisford、David MancusoらのパーティーやDance TracksやVinyl Maniaといった名店に通い詰め、NYハウス黄金期のムーヴメントに深く浸る。
映画『Party Monster』著者James St. James主催の「FUTURE」や、Garage／Traxx系のコミュニティイベント“U+Me Octagon Fridays”、Ejoe主宰の“Soulgasm”などに起用され、Loretta Holloway、Gwen Guthrie、MAW、Andre Collins、Tony Humphriesら数々のレジェンドと共演。
自身のイベント“House Of East”を17年間にわたり主宰し、NYのアンダーグラウンドシーンに携わり続ける。
