Since the age of 12, Sono Singh aka SUNTEK, began learning various musical instruments and by the age of 16 he had mastered 7 or 8 instruments like saxophone, piano, drums etc. Since then, he has worked relentlessly on music and over the years found himself spinning and organinzing various private events and outdoor events of Electronic Dance music, building a steady fan-base and during his visit to his home country India where he met with U.F.O Entertainment INDIA, and began his career as a professional DJ in Aug 2009, as the headliner in Club Amigo, India.

After returning to Canada, he joined residency at SUNRISE Afterhours , and also played at various other locations in the Capital region. He also has a podcast series " A JOURNEY THROUGH SOUND " which is aired every Mon Danceradio.ca
