Cape Town, South Africa
SKAM is a Cape Town-based DJ and producer whose journey spans two decades of electronic music, underground culture and constant evolution.
Starting out in 2006 as DJ Shadley.K, SKAM emerged in 2012 as an identity built on experimentation and a refusal to fit into one box.
From festival TRAP and Drum & Bass to Dubstep, grime and deeper bass-driven sounds, SKAM follows the sound, not the rules. His journey has taken him through clubs, residencies and festival stages, connecting with dancefloors through bold selections, heavy low-end pressure and underground energy.
After stepping away from the spotlight and returning in 2020, SKAM continues to evolve as a DJ, producer and promoter, driven by a deep connection to underground culture.
Twenty years in, he's not starting again. He's building on everything that came before.
No genre boundaries. No reset. Just evolution.
