DJ Tempo learnt to mix alongside school mate Danny Wheeler back in 1997 before progressing to a warm-up residency at Movement opening for the likes of Bryan Gee, Marky, Ray Keith, Roni Size and Grooverider both at Bar Rumba and other illustrious venues like Fabric and Mass. He then spent two years working for Good Looking Records where he'd hassle the legendary LTJ Bukem for tunes and mixing tips.
In early 2005, he re-located to Cape Town where he spent a hazy few years rolling with the African Dope crew. Since then he has played at Earthdance, Rocking the Daisies, It Came From The Jungle, Step Up, Cold Turkey, Pressure and many other nights along the way.
Now a fully-fledged member of the Tempo DNB crew (they could hardly refuse with a name like that), he is re-immersed in the Cape Town Drum n Bass scene. He also hosts a fortnightly internet radio show alongside fellow UK ex-pat Junglist, MC Tan.
