Refilwe Shinta is a deep house/soulful house DJ who was born and raised in Soweto. The deep house bug bit me from an early age as my uncle used to play it for me whenever he was around, and it has been with me ever since. I learned how to DJ when I was in high school, started to host events when I finished my matric and I formed a group of 5 young DJs who helped me to host these events which later departed. At the moment, I release SHINTA mixes every month and I host deep house events around Soweto.
