SDS Entertainment standing for ’Setting Da Standards’ is an all black female led entertainments company based in Croydon, South London. Founded by Makeda Bennett-Amparbeng in 2018; with a keen focus on helping the BME community. SDS sets out to support young creatives through means of: live performances, artist development, workshops and exhibitions. With their current focus on developing the creative community within the borough of Croydon, they produce monthly hub nights at one of the only music venues in central Croydon called The Front Room. Here, they welcome rappers, singers, poets, musicians and comedians; to not only take the stage but also provide a platform to network with each other.

Bedroom Sessions has been set up as a type of fundraiser to try and help artists and musicians whose gigs, events, etc have been cancelled and career paths put on hold as a result of the current Coronavirus outbreak.
