I started raving in Montreal in early 1993 and fell in love with dancing and underground dance music. I started buying records in late '94 and got my first turntables in early '95. I played at a few parties and clubs and had a Friday night residency at Groove Society for about 6 months with a good friend of mine. I moved to Toronto in '97 and played a couple of parties but mostly just spun at home with friends. In 2000 all my gear was stolen and I decided to give DJing a break, sold all my records (over 3000) and started listening to a huge variety of styles of music again. Over the years I never lost my love of electronic music though. A friend of mine introduced me to CDJs a couple of years ago, and while resistant at first, I quickly realized how great they were. Digital DJing isn't quite as magic a feeling as vinyl DJing, but when it's just a part time hobby, it does the trick. Hopefully I'll bang out a mix every now and then and get them up here. Cheers!
