Brian Essence
Koketso Brian Setoaba (born June 7, 1990), known professionally as Brian Essence, is a Dj, Composer, Producer and self-titled Sound Engineer from Atteridgeville (Le Ashma, Sabona). He is an independent artists looking to make his mark in the electronic dance scene.
Background
He is know for the compositions “Cold Hearted” and “Skeptedaba” which debuted on Cassper Nyovest’s album Tsholofelo. The Pretoria born artist is skilled in different genre’s being Hip Hop, R&B, House/Dance, Kwaito and Motswako. His upbringing included majority of the said genre’s being jammed constantly within the household. He has been see doing live performances on shows like CrazyE and events with the likes of Thusga, KB The Deacon, Khanyi B and Bruce loko to name a few.
Brian Essence’s mission us to share with the world his musical perspective being in melody and beat. His upcoming EP “Kismet” will be showcasing his artistic feel. The release date is still yet to be confirmed.
