Roaming the discotheques in the 80’s and 90’s I was inspired by the DJ’s and their mixing skills. Eric benjamin and Rens vd Mar from ‘the Marathon’ the Hague, Peter Slaghuis (RIP) from ‘the Bluetiek Inn’ Rotterdam. Listening to Radio Stad Den Haag, the mixes on Veronica by Ben Liebrand, ‘de bond van doorstarters’ on the Soulshow by Ferry Maat to name but a few. Travelled around Holland spinning the wheels of steel with Arjan Dijkshoorn and the Manhattan Drive-In show. And now mixing all styles just for the fun of it.
