Romano Gemini began his career at the Vienna clubs Flex and Sub Zero in the mid-1990s as resident DJ, where he drew on the genres of techno, tribal, house, and ethno-trance.

Over the next few years he developed his own unique style via percussive funk house to encompass breaks, D&B, and ghetto funk, spiced with acid, soul, hip-hop, and ragga.

At the beginning of the new millennium, he started his “Break Beat Connection” project in Sub Zero. He also founded the “MiXaMaL” remix club and helped establish the Vienna branch of the global “Bootie” club, where he serves up the finest in party mashups.

Over the course of his career he has played several Vienna clubs including: U4, Volksgarten and Ost Klub. His musical range is hence very broad and is one of the factors that make his live sets into unforgettable experiences! His heart belongs to progressive black music and ghetto funk, which form the backbone of his distinctive and bodacious groove.
