Rocket Empire are the Portland, Oregon based duo of Jon Cates and Dave Dish. Writing music together for 15 years, their sound is a fusion of acoustic indie rock and down-tempo, on level with Kruder & Dorfmeister and Nightmares on Wax. Their first three albums ‘Rocket Empire’ , ‘See Me Speak in Color’ and 'Sky Float Sun' saw heavy support from SIRIUS XM Chill, KCRW, KEXP and SOMA FM Groove Salad, as well as features on tv and major motion pictures.
