"Ringtone - The Tonious One"
"Ringtone" whose birth name is Jarrell Daniel Fenton is an uprising dancehall artist from the volcanic Caribbean island of Montserrat. In late 2005, Ringtone released massive breakout hits including "Tek A Stand" on the then popular "Thunda Clap" Riddim. In recent times he has found great success with tracks such as “Mash It Up”, “Heavy T Wine” and “No Play Ah Carnival”.
A man of many names some of his aliases are The Tonious, Tone, Tony T and The Meat Man. The majority of Ringtone’s songs consist of a positive message geared at youths but his versatility allows him to ‘break out’ when necessary. The songster is currently enrolled at the University of the West Indies (U.W.I), Cavehill campus in Barbados, majoring in Literature in English.
