St. Paul, Mn, United States
Started in radio when in high school at a non-licensed pirate radio station in St. Paul, MN. Attended Brown Institute, a radio/TV school in Minneapolis and got my first job in commercial radio in 1972 at KTCR-FM (now KTCZ-FM). This was the first 24-hour country FM station in the Twin Cities. After leaving radio in 1978 for a career in commercial real estate, in 2007 I created a website to promote the history of Minneapolis - St. Paul radio. www.TwinCitiesRadioAirchecks.com
There are a collection of radio airchecks of many stations and formats, primarily from the 1950's, 60's & 70's, along with studio photos.
