Rhythm is rooted in the late ’80s rave explosion, inspired by Hardcore, Acid House, Jungle and early Drum & Bass. Early guidance from long‑time friend Scott / Red One (RAM) helped shape the path, leading to studio sessions with Ant Miles in 1994 and the creation of Higher Sense. We worked on various tracks for Moving Shadow, and Cold Fresh Air was the one Rob Playford chose to bring us onto the label.
Further Liftin’ Spirits releases such as Cup A Char and What Is Going On helped define the atmospheric and tech‑step sound of the era. Today, Rhythm hosts weekly Drum & Bass and Radio Rave shows on Cyndicut Radio, broadcasting online at cyndicut.net and across the DAB network covering Essex, East London, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset — blending classic roots with modern DnB energy.
