I was a turntablist for various Hip Hop artists and groups since 1985. I started djing parties in apartments, local neighborhood parks and recreation centers in 1986. I continued on up until 1994 when I became one of the in-house djs for weekly events like The Hyperbolic Lounge (Nightengale's, NYC), Fat Funkin Wednesday's (The Pipeline, Newark, NJ), Buddah Babies (Buddah Bar, NYC) as well as my own weekly events like Soulquarium (The Coffee Cave, Newark, NJ) and Raw Form (The Armory Tavern, Newark, NJ). Which, during that time, I started spinning music on radio.
