Erwin Rietbergen, better known as Rewintrance, is a Dutch DJ with roots in classic dance and trance. Inspired by the Soul Show and Ben Liebrand’s In The Mix, he discovered his passion for mixing after the first Grandmix in 1983. From one pitch-controlled turntable to two Technics SL-1200s, he built his skills through dedication and a lifelong love for music.

His remix of Michael Jackson’s Dirty Diana reached national radio in 1988 on Dance Tracks, followed by recognition on Avro’s Drie Maal Doordraai. In 1992, as DJ Dr Nameless, he reached the finals of the Dutch House DJ Contest alongside names such as Tijs Verwest, DJ Pavo and winner Bass-D.

After DJing in Spain in 1994, Erwin chose a more secure career path, but his passion never faded. Today, as Rewintrance, he shares energetic, emotional mixes shaped by progressive house/trance and uplifting trance—driven by one mission: sharing an unconditional love for trance music.
