I, Alex Mason, am a pallid, baby-faced John Peel for the selfie generation. Or that’s how I’d like to view myself. In reality I’m probably just one of those annoying kids who hangs around record stores, rolling their eyes and clumsily referencing niche, seminal bands. Well, whatever the truth: I love music. Like, really love it. And now I have a platform. Although my listening seems to always come back to malnourished kids with wiry guitars and broken hearts, my taste is somewhat varied and I hope to put some interesting and fun shows together.
