My Name is Ruben Garcia; A.k.a. DJ Qu1z0 pronounced, “Quiz – O”. Qu1z0 came from a nickname my friends gave me after a favorite song. The 1 and 0 in my name represents the year I started to really dj and basically; the year 2010 was a huge year for my career, which has taken off relatively quickly. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, California I grew up around music all my life. I have been playing drums for 8 years. And around 5 years ago I’ve discovered Electronic music and fell in love to producers/djs such as Deadmau5, Rusko, Dillon Francis, Skrillex, Steve Angelo, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Daft Punk to name a few. I then, really took an in -depth into Djing like DJ’s such as DJ AM, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and DJ A-trak and local resident DJ’s such DJ Mackle, DJ Matty Matt, DJ Sparx, DJ Madness, DJ Curly to name a few. I then got interested in listening to Dj’s and producers then decided to give it a try. Been Mixing and putting up my own mixes/mash-ups and now resident DJ in SB
