QAEL is a multifaceted artist: beatmaker, rapper, songwriter, and DJ. He took his first steps in writing, developing a strong aptitude for freestyle and a deep passion for turntables. After years of apprenticeship between sound systems and collaborations with the PSALM collective, he released his first demo, Un modo di azione. After moving to Bologna, he shared the stage with artists such as Reks, Inoki, Apollo Brown, Skyzoo, Big Pooh, Okvsho, Moddi, Soulboy, Next One, Coez, DJ Shocca, DJ Trix, and DJ Lugi. In 2017, he released the EP Essenzialmente Soul, produced by Natty Dub (Funk Shui Project). He continued as a beatmaker with Dream Tape (2021) and The Sample Cave (2023) for Beat’s Tailors. In 2024, the EP Istinto was released. He collaborated with Amir Issaa, producing the EP New Balance. The new album Autoritratto, produced by Luzee, is released on vinyl by Underground Rhougness.
