South East, United Kingdom
A clubber of the 70's & 80's vintage from the South East UK, clubs frequented include, Fleet Country Club, Ragamuffins, Banners & Frenchies in Camberley, The Belvedere in Ascot, Gallaghers in Farnborough and Pantiles & The Hero in Bagshot. Occasional trips to The Gold Mine in Canvey Island, The Rio in Didcot. and The Empire & The Lyceum in London. Still out on the dance floor at Jazz Funk & Soul reunion/revival events (when permitted by my creaking back and knees) and listening to Jeff Young & Harv Nagi on the radio. Now having a go at mixing a few tracks from the spare bedroom. Started in 2013 using a USB controller now with a Pioneer XDJ-R1. Mainly club stuff from the 60's 70's and 80's ranging from Soul, Funk, Disco & Jazz Funk but I also keep an ear open for Nu Jazz/Soul & Disco. I've also put my stuff here: www.house-mixes.com/profile/phat-bastard. Feel free to leave any feed back or email me at Phunky.Buddha@mail.com, the name reflects my stature & hairline !!
Enjoy ;-)i
