Dear Mixcloud friends,
I am very excited to share a special vinyl only session titled "20 Years" with you before a short summer break.
This downtempo session is dedicated to my wonderful wife. For twenty years, we have shared life together, laughed, cried, danced, travelled, welcomed our wonderful son, and created countless unforgettable memories. When I look at the session photo from twenty years ago, it feels like yesterday. Twenty years – half a lifetime.
With this session, I simply want to say thank you for these incredible years. It is a gift I never take for granted.
Thank you all for listening and for your wonderful support. Every comment means a lot to me. I wish you a fantastic summer filled with happiness, unforgettable moments, and beautiful music.

erst einmal wünsche ich dir und deiner Frau alles Liebe auch für die nächsten 20 Jahre 🧡 Was für ein schönes Photo von euch beiden- absolut passend zu der wunderschönen Musik, die euch begleitet hat und viele Erinnerungen in sich trägt ❤️🔥 Aus tiefstem Herzen Danke für das Teilen- ich finde, das ist eine super tolle Geste für euren gemeinsamen Weg, aber auch für deine Frau und mich hat diese Session sehr berührt, weil viele Stücke auch einen grossen Teil meines Weges mit meinem Mann begleitet haben 🎶 Es ist das Fantastische an der Musik, dass es für jede Emotion, jede Lebenslage ausdrücken kann, was Worte häufig nicht vermögen 🧡 Ich wünsche euch beiden alles Glück dieser Welt, geniesst die Zeit miteinander und wenn graue Wolken am Himmel aufziehen vermag dieses Set sich daran zu erinnern, dass die Sonne immer scheint- sie ist nur nicht immer sichtbar ☀️🧡

Liebe Saby, herzlichen Dank für deine lieben Glückwünsche und deinen wunderbaren Kommentar. 25 Jahre bei euch ist aber auch eine Ansage 🤩 Dazu gratuliere ich euch beiden auch ganz herzlich 😍 Musik hat mich schon immer begleitet seit ich denken kann und wie du richtigerweise schreibst, passt die Musik zu jeder Lebenslage. In dieser Session habe ich mich v.a. auf Musik konzentriert, die in eine Downtempo Session passt. Einzig das Michael Cretu Projekt mit der Stimme von Sandra "Enigma" fällt erinnerungstechnisch etwas aus dem Rahmen, weil dies eher Erinnerungen aus meiner Jugendzeit sind. Ich habe schon sehr lange den Wunsch gehabt mir das Album von Anfang der 90iger auf Vinyl zu kaufen, musste aber feststellen, dass die Preise für gut erhaltene Kopien durch die Decke gegangen sind in den letzten Monaten, warum auch immer. Ich danke dir von Herzen für deine Glückwünsche und wünsche euch beiden alles Liebe, gute Gesundheit und noch mehr Glück für ein langes und erfülltes Leben. Liebe Grüsse nach Hannover 🤗🫶🙏

Beautiful and exquisite selection Phil, and as a good selection where beauty is the reason for this beautiful anniversary, where I congratulate you, I could not miss an enigma. When I had been listening to it for a while I thought that that typical track that recalls a sunset in the sea of Hot Since 82 would look good here (although I think the original is someone else's) and suddenly I heard it ha ha, it looks perfect, on top of that I didn't know that version, so I'm doubly happy to listen to it. @Phil_Moreno Ahh sorry, is this track, The End (Hot Since 82 vs T Vanelli) I've heard several versions, so I'm not sure who the original is, but the first time I heard it was this version by Hot Since 82 and I loved it
@roberto-martin3 I think everyone sampled something there. From what I’ve read online: Need To Feel Loved used a sample of Thomas Newman's 'Ghosts' from The Road To Perdition soundtrack. And now, the same label has repackaged the track a bit 😎
