My hill-walking and camping days are all but over now but I still drink real ale - however, I dispensed with the traditional 'beard and woolly jumper look' some years ago; I occasionally buy The Guardian newspaper (I like the font, the layout and the crosswords). I'm a little OCD; my records are in alphabetical order, chronological within artist, and the collections are sorted into genres - but then, aren't everybody's?
I like 1970s French thrillers (good for car spotting!) and proper dark chocolate.
The best thing in the world is fresh bread. The worst? Alarm clocks!
