"Building STEM Bridges" and "STEM4Parents" is inspired by Pam’s desire to create a prosperous economic future for our children and our country. She combines her role as a seasoned advocate and policy guru, a successful entrepreneur and passionate parent along with her strengths in leadership, collaboration and building partnerships to take on a transformative time in our economy, education and job markets.
“Empowering Others to be Their Own Best Advocate” is a consistent theme over many decades in public service, government relations and most recently leading a local nonprofit in building local, regional and statewide partnerships to link education and careers.
Her lifelong passion for sailing and boating led to Pam’s first encounter with STEM. Pam discovered a STEM education program incorporating hands-on learning through sailing as part of a local, innovative partnership on the Chesapeake Bay outside Annapolis, MD.
