Brighton, United Kingdom
The People’s Republic of Brighton and Hove radio-show (for TV) is a grassroots community programme providing the answer to the question: What is the difference that make Brighton and Hove such a wonderful city? We explore the wild, the quirky, the generous and compassionate, kind and creative hidden in the valleys, back alleys and beautiful parks.
Here you will find the likes of “Mothers Uncorked”; “Brighton Story Tellers”; “Qukelele”, and; “Cast Iron theatre” alongside the likes of “Invisible Voices Brighton:; “Happy Startup School”; “Unite the Beat”, and “Disability Pride. And we must mention the wealth of charities we’ve interviewed as well, including Justlife; The Survivor’s Network and; Grassroots Suicide Prevention.
We have a mission: which is very much about a celebration of the uniqueness of "The People's Republic of Brighton & Hove" and all who sail in her.
Formerly a fortnightly live radio show on 1BrightonFM (May 2016 to August 2017)
