Dear friends of DJ mixes.
Here you will find only analog recorded and analog mastered sets.
My sets are created with two Revox PR99s.
These are recorded at 15 inch/sec.
Tapes from RTM are used.
What's the difference?
You hear what I get from my system. From the hardware. My goal is to create high-quality analog recordings with a well-rounded sound.
The set is first recorded on the first PR99. It is the signal that the XLR connectors provide.
After that, this recording will be recorded again on the second PR99 and sonically finalized. Again, this is purely analog via XLR connections.
This result is then recorded on a DENON DN500R with 96khz. The conversion to digital takes place there.
