Dj Norbs3000 was born in Manhattan, was raised in Brooklyn and Queens New York. Growing up listening to Hector Lavoe, playing piano at age 5 and studying various Beethoven Concerto & Symphonies. Constantly recording 80's New York Mix Shows like Chuck Chillout and DJ Red Alert. This is the foundation that connects his Dj sets and style today, calling upon various genres and melodies to give the room’s he plays in a vibe, special energy and very deep music vocabulary. In 2004, Norbs turned his attention to Connecticut , settling in New Haven- embracing it as his second home and the new site of influence. Dj NORBS3000 has enjoyed playing at many Club gigs that span from NYC to Boston and beyond. He has been a well respected DJ since the Late 90’s. His goal when behind the decks, is to give a musical journey that spans back from his influences as he pushes the familiar & unfamiliar into the future.
