TGIF（ティージーアイエフ）は、英語の「Thank God, It's Friday.」（ありがとう神様、今日は金曜日だ）という句の頭字語。仕事や学校が終わる金曜日、無事に金曜日を迎えられたことや来たる週末を祝う目的で用いられる。
つまりは日本で言うところの「華の金曜日」にあたる言葉です。
ですがこのDJイベントのT.G.I.F.には「Thank God, It's Festival.」（ありがとう神様、今日はお祭りだ）という意味合いを込めており、国籍の垣根を越えてみんなで楽しめるDJイベントにしたいと考えています。
