In 1998, AkkroniK (now known as Nico Bastiano) made his first track which was rather a Dance style. Years passed and the artist change his style. In 2002, he changed his name for "AkkroniK" and entered the underground scene of Montreal with a darker style: psytrance.

He took part has its first event, a rave party called "Kudsak" Signed by United Productions. 1 year later, AkkroniK associated with "Ace" and the vj "Amp_01" to form "Unreal Productions" and they made there first event under the name of "Unstoppable Motions - _ - Goa Intensity - _ - " which was a great success.

Since, AkkroniK played at "The Cult Club", Lausanne, Switzerland and became, in 2009, a resident Dj at a beach bar based in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, on the famous Playa Zicatela. He was also in a radio show called "TecTonik" every Wednesday evening, 23h30 at 102.3 FM in Montreal, Canada.

He stopped mixing but he is back on decks with a new name and he changed his style: Deep-House, Tech-House and Bass House
