Niara Sterling is a multifaceted artist who is especially known as a DJ. Originally from Springfield, Virginia, she began her music career in Washington, D.C. in 2016. Niara currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
In the span of this budding career, Niara has become an integral leader in the renaissance of community, style, and expression. Niara's early start began at bars like Ode to Babel and Casablanca where she would spin an array of music regularly. From there she was able to expand her musical range and earned residencies at Lot45, House of Yes, Good Room, and Jupiter Disco.
Currently, Niara has begun diving into Music Supervision and producing a forthcoming short film due to release this year. Niara will also take on a monthly radio show on Universal Rhythms called, "Soul Ties".
