I am an English professor who probably should have studied music! I can do without a lot of things, but music is not one of them. I have an extensive music collection that includes albums, 45s, cassettes(need to digitize those), and CDs. And then there are the songs purchased from Apple or Amazon. Yikes! It sounds like an addiction. I listen to almost all genres and have added artists from the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, etc. to my collection. Music is music to me--no matter the language.
