Bradford, United Kingdom
Mycall Isrell's love for sound systems & DJing spans decades and started in his late teens to the present. His love for the music and passion has never diminished. Mycall journey started with playing records on his mum's old radiogram when she had parties, he would jump in and spin chunes.
Mycall built a sound system called "Israelites" and DJ at various venues around Bradford. During the 1990s he moved into pirate radio then later built a station called WKLR. Mycall also presented reggae music and spoken-word shows on Bradford Community Radio (BCB). Mycall loves playing chunes and giving a true listening experience. One key principle Mycall holds dearly is paying homage to the creativity of Artists/everyone involved in making the music he flings down. Mycall sees his role as introducing the artist's music to the audience.
