Listening History

London, United Kingdom
In his youth, Mr Wilson spent a lot of time hip hopping around, generally scratching himself, which he found provided him with a great deal of pleasure. One time, when he was scratching a bit hard, he fell over and landed on the roots of a great tree, the tree of music. When he looked at the roots coming from the bombastic branch of hip hop he found beautiful things beyond his wildest dreams; funk, soul, reggae, jazz, Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe. Suddenly, it all began to make sense, to click together in mad syncopated rhythms, and Mr Wilson had a sudden urge to know more, to be all, to feel everything. But as this feeling came over, he found himself falling, falling into a big pot of bass. He bounced around for a while and decided he didn't really want to get out as the vibrations were touching just the right spot. Thus, he fell in love with dub and all that dub touched. And so he made some dubsteps into the jungle to listen to the roar of the lion.
