DJ MBUC is my DJ name, Moon Born Unicorn is my producer name. I live in a place where dnb is still underground. In fact I didn't discover it until I was in my mid 20's. Sure I had heard it before here and there, but I had never felt it. Not until listing to an essential mix by High Contrast from 2007 while in the right state of mind. This was introduced to me by my partner who I credit for opening my world up to dnb! I remember that moment when I got hooked in the summer of 2014 and I have never looked back. I spent the next several years going deeper down the dnb rabbit hole until eventually I decided to start making it. This would have been around the spring of 2019. Unfortunately my 2007 MacBook had died on me about a year earlier. This lead me to masking dnb beats on my iPhone, and they weren't bad, much on my music on Soundcloud was made on that iPhone. Doing this motivated me to to get a computer and start taking myself seriously.
