Ivan Montero, a.k.a. “DJ I.M.” has been a Professional Disc Jockey for 30 years. His DJ career began in Radio Broadcasting in 1985, then moved into the Club scene and Mobile DJ arena. He played at locations and events throughout the U.S. and Japan, while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Ivan has come full circle returning to his radio roots and can now be heard on WUSF “Bulls Radio” 89.7 HD3 Tampa AND 1620 AM on USF campus. He also plays at events throughout Central/South Florida.
Ivan's "Guest DJ" appearances include the hottest Nightclubs in Los Angeles, including a residency at the World-Famous Conga Room, where he alternated with the hottest Latin Artists and Bands in the world. He has also been featured at premier and world-class events in the L.A. area to include the Latin Grammy Awards Official After-Party, Puerto Rican Parade in California, and Bacardi World Salsa Congress. Ivan is a seasoned professional.
